Mini Challis V-Neck Elastic Waist Dress

I tried the black floral dress on in store and fell in love with it. I preferred a size down from my normal size (0 instead of 1). I often think torrid dresses are too long, but this dress is the perfect length. It's very flattering. I just ordered it in another color. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I really wanted to love this dress, but, it was tway too short! Especially in the back! Heaven help the person who has a rear if they need to bend down even a little or heaven forbid it’s windy, because you will be showing off more than you bargained for. I am 5 2” and a 2/3. Ordered the 3, and it should not have been that short on me! I regret not measuring it before I returned it because there’s no way the dress that was sent was 41” long. The elastic waist fit oddly, too. So disappointing

This is one of those dresses you have to try on. I tried on the black with flowers at the store. I immediately loved it! As mentioned, no stretch in the material, but the waist has elastic. I’m 5’10 and a size 3. I wear any dresses this length with leggings (full length or capris). As a mini dress, I feel the length is normal. I think it’s so cute and can’t wait to wear it to work. Would love other versions in darker colors.

I am in love with this dress style!!! Ii have the Sunflower and the peachy floral. I am buying the new green floral, black floral and heron print right now!!! They are perfect for layering in the office or wearing out and about anywhere! So flowy, sleeves are long enough, waistband hits high which is great for me. And of course, it has pockets!!! I wear a 3 or 4 depending, I chose the 4 for this dress since there is little stretch and to accomodate my 44H chest. Torrid- please keep bringing more colors and patterns in this style and making them affordable and i will keep snatching them up! Can we have a darker purple, a royal blue, and even a rainbow or ombre ones next please???

I am usually 0 in torrid dresses, sometimes 1. I read the other reviews so I bought a 1. I feel that the stretch/give in the waistband is similar to other torrid dresses. I should probably return for 0 because the breast area is loose on me, but too lazy to return and the 1 is cute. Dress did arrive wrinkly but it may be fine after a wash and dry. Otherwise will iron it. I love this dress! Very comfortable.

I'm 5'2" and this dress hit right at my knees. I actually sized down to get it a bit more fitted and I'm glad I did. There's not much stretch putting it on but it's a flattering dress.

I bought this last week and it arrived today. When I first opened it I was leary due tobthe material. I thought it was going to be a stretchy fabric due to not reading the details. However, when I tried the dress on, it does fit and feel so nice! I am a size 1, and it fits perfectly. I was worried about the chest area, bit it fits awesome for larger chests. It is comfortable even though the waist is the only strech about it. I love it. The fabric is light and cool. It's great for work or going out! Or even a wedding.

I love this dress so much I'm buying it in another color. I'm a size 3 in dresses and this fits true to size. The fabric doesn't have much stretch so you might want to size up if you are larger than DD, it's definitely more fitted on top. I'm 5'8" and it hits right at my knees, not short at all. I love having an option for a lightweight summer dress with sleeves!

I love it except the elastic band under the breasts is twisted and a bit uncomfortable. Something to check for future buyers. It just didnt occur to me to check it since the other one I ordered, different print, had no issues.

I bought the blue one and the black floral one. The fabric is nice and light and I love the fluttery arms. A bit on the small side. I want to order another colour, but I might size up. 44G Personally, I will be wearing it with leggings underneath for work because it’s a bit short for me.
